Just back from a charity photography session at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park tonight for Dreamnight, where kids with long term illnesses and terminally ill children are invited to the zoo for an magical evening of animals, craft and a BBQ. It has been going on at zoos around the world and is great that the staff at Paignton Zoo have organised this massive and fantastic event. I was assigned to photographing ‘tiger enrichment’! which was really amazing to get up so close to these beautiful, and scary, creatures. They didn’t like me being so close to the fence and I did jump out of my skin a few times when they pounced at me. I took loads of great shots of the kids but am not allowed to share them.
