Rambunctious Rum Bumper Ball event photos

It’s not my usual commission, but last Saturday I did some evening event photography at the Rambunctious Social Club Rum Bumper Ball which took place in the Barrelhouse and Castle bars in Totnes. One of the best nights out I have ever been to thanks to the awesomeness of DJ and artist Lee Hodguez, DJ Griff and their two fantastic guest DJ’s: Cal Jader from Movimientos and the brilliantly entertaining Chris Tofu (Vintage Remix).

I usually photograph children, who are like little drunk people anyway, and it was a good excuse to get out and use my flash and practice for the up and coming wedding season.

It was a sell-out. The dancefloor was packed and from Chris’s riotus tunes to Cal’s inspiring tropical beats, with art and visuals from Lee and others, it was a night Totnes will remember for a while!

Rambunctious have many exciting gigs over the summer including Port Eliot Festival and Tropical Pressure Festival, with DJ Griff also appearing at The Masked Ball, Shindig Festival and Golowan Festival, Penzance. Also look out for their Mexican Night of the Dead which takes place every November.
